Client

The client required the flat extension to be converted for a family member being an elderly gentleman. Layouts and removals of walls were discussed through regular meetings and emails. The design was to encourage independence by allowing a more private outlook. Therefore development of the layouts were influenced to fulfil the client.

Client Design Keppie Ltd.

David Ross the live client of this project, this design consists of designing keppies footprint area of their basement concidering door openings.The extent of windows and external walls allowing natural light to be a main factor of the design. The volume and the height is not limited.The design of keppies basement will be designed into a small studio for a contemporary artist. Therefore, researching varies for artists, to gather a style to design the studio, although still taking into consideration all requirements and incorporating the artist style.
